Is it really possible to have a "CIVIL WAR"?
We went to dinner with friends at the new Bar Symon in Avon Lake.
Both Patty and Lude got Michael Symon's new cookbook this year and we had them autographed! It's a delightful place and I can't wait to go back.
Happy Birthday, Patty

Happy Birthday, Dad

Dad came for dinner on his birthday this year and Lude made him some yummy lamb chops and colcannon potatoes! Of course, I get to reap the benefits of that birthday meal, because I love lamb chops too!

We had birthday cake with the sibs later that evening!

Happy Birthday, Daddio!

Happy New Year.....

It's been a crazy last couple of months for us. Once Thanksgiving came and we made the drive to Illinois for our Normal Thanksgiving, things have spiralled....not out of control, but definitely void of blogger time!

We had a quiet relaxing New Year's Eve with kClare. She was able to secure a TRIVIAL PURSUIT - Beatles Edition and my nephew, Owen, "the Brit", came over to play a round. Everyone was reminded or reassured about the amount of Beatle Trivia they really know or as in my case, don't know! I know it's John, Paul, George and Ringo....that's it!

On Friday, Lude cooked us a wonderful pork roast dinner and we really took advantage of the time to just unwind from the holiday.

I will post a few pictures from Christmas later, but in the meantime, Happy New Year to you all.

I'm just realizing how long it's been since I've really posted and how much has happened in that time.
But, today, it's Scrappy Day and my friends and family are here having a great time.

Here's a couple of pictures of the Happy Scrappers.

I promise I'll post more tomorrow!
