I've been perfecting my crochet skills and now,
 I'm making "hats"!  HAHA, hats!
But actually, I'm learning more how to read a pattern.

Jess was chosen from her company to attend the 2016 Annual Din Tai Fung Overseas Seminar in Taiwan.  She was a bit apprehensive about going, but decided it was an honor and in the finish, she had a good time.  When I asked her to send me her itinerary (so that I knew when she was flying and because Dad likes to "track" the flights for fun) what she sent was in mandarin and well, that didn't help!  She set up a shared photo album like the girls have for Maeve and I told her I wanted to see a picture in the morning and one in the evening so that I knew she was "alive and doing well".  As it turned out, she emailed a couple times, but she did send along some fantastic photographs!  It was a long flight and I know she appreciated the diversion and break from LA.

I (we) are missing our little peanut!  But, it's a good thing I get to see her on Tuesday!
I'm going to Chicago to be with kClare as Louisa heads off to a conference.
And, then, Lude and I will be back to Chicago mid-May for kClare's birthday!
We get several pictures of the baby everyday and we facetime with them but,
it's just not the same!  Here is one of the scrapbook pages from our last trip to
Chicago earlier in the month.

Some pictures from the Kemock stash!

Some favorites of Maeve and her Mommies!
I can't wait to see them next week!

Someone from the girls' church gave Maeve this adorable
onsie (the girls DO love the onsies!)

And a visit to Louisa's work was pretty fun for Maeve
and her Moms.  She received her first blessing - from the BISHOP!

I am in love with this picture of Louisa and Maeve!
They look so relaxed.
Maeve is so lucky to have such loving Mommies.

Easter 1983
So long ago, but yet, not so long ago!
I do believe that's a Baker's Date and Nut cake!
Mom always got that for Dad!

All Hail Queen of Thrones,
According to Aunt jJoy
Jess worked her magic in creating this photo
of Maeve.  I guess it has something to do
with Game of Thrones which I don't watch.
It's just darn cute though.

Congratulations, Martin!
Time to shine!

And, now, we go backwards in time with old pictures that I feel
fortunate to have.  Both from my family and from Lude's.
I know that the girls will appreciate having them.
